Warranty & Complaints Policy
Effective date: 25 September 2026
This policy explains how to submit a complaint about a defective or non-conforming product and describes the commercial warranty offered by Ergolyx.
The commercial warranty is separate from your mandatory statutory rights. It does not replace or limit those rights.
Statutory Consumer Rights
Consumers have mandatory rights where products are defective or do not conform to the contract.
Any commercial warranty offered by Ergolyx applies in addition to the consumer’s mandatory statutory rights under applicable law and does not limit those rights.
Submitting a Complaint or Warranty Claim
To submit a warranty or defect claim, contact Ergolyx through our contact form or email support@ergolyx.com.
Please include:
- your order number or other proof of purchase;
- a description of the problem; and
- where available, relevant photographs or video.
We may ask for reasonable cooperation with inspection or troubleshooting where this is necessary to assess the claim.
Any information or evidence requested is used to assess the claim. It does not limit your mandatory statutory rights or change the burden of proof established by applicable law.
Remedies for Defective or Non-Conforming Products
If a complaint is accepted, Ergolyx will normally first attempt to remedy the defect through repair or replacement.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, a price reduction or cancellation of the purchase and refund may instead be available.
This does not limit any mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.
Ergolyx Commercial Warranty
Ergolyx provides the following commercial warranty periods from the date of delivery:
- Desk frames and structural metal components: 10 years
- Tabletops: 5 years
- Lift motors, control boxes, handsets and related electronics: 5 years
- Chair frames and bases: 10 years
- Chair mechanisms, gas lifts, armrests and castors: 5 years
The warranty periods apply to each listed component and not to the product as a whole.
Warranty Coverage and Exclusions
The commercial warranty covers defects in materials, manufacturing or function that arise during the applicable warranty period under normal intended use.
It does not cover normal wear and tear or damage caused by misuse, accidents, incorrect assembly, use or maintenance, or unauthorised modifications or repairs.
These exclusions apply only to the commercial warranty and do not limit any mandatory statutory rights available to consumers.
