Refund policy

This Return and Refund Policy explains how returns, withdrawals, refunds, and defective product claims are handled by Ergolyx AB.
It applies to both business customers and consumer customers.
This policy should be read together with our Terms of Service, Shipping Policy, and Warranty terms. Mandatory consumer rights under applicable law are not affected.
Scope of Returns
Ergolyx AB supplies both standard products and products that may be custom-made or clearly personalized.
Return rights differ depending on whether the customer is a business customer or a consumer, and whether the product is standard or custom-made.
Business Customers
For business customers, no right of return or cancellation applies unless expressly agreed in writing by Ergolyx AB.
All business orders are binding once accepted, confirmed, or paid.
Returns are only permitted where expressly agreed in writing or where required under applicable warranty terms.
Consumer Customers
For consumer customers, a statutory right of withdrawal applies where required by applicable consumer protection law.
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the date the consumer receives the goods.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the consumer must contact Ergolyx AB at support@ergolyx.com before the withdrawal period expires.
Custom-Made or Personalized Products
The right of withdrawal does not apply to products that are made to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalized.
This may include custom-made desks, custom dimensions, special drilling, special finishes, or other products made specifically for the customer.
Standard products that are not custom-made or clearly personalized may be returned under the consumer right of withdrawal where applicable.
Condition of Returned Products
Returned products must be handled only to the extent necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and function.
Products should be returned unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging where reasonably possible.
If a product has been handled more than necessary, Ergolyx AB may deduct an amount corresponding to the diminished value where permitted by law.
Return Shipping
For consumer withdrawals, the customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping unless otherwise agreed in writing or required by law.
Because furniture products may be large or heavy, customers must contact Ergolyx AB before returning a product. Ergolyx AB will provide return instructions.
Any goodwill exception offered by Ergolyx AB does not create a general right to free returns.
Refunds
Refunds are issued using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
For consumer withdrawals, refunds are processed in accordance with applicable consumer protection law.
Ergolyx AB may wait to issue the refund until the returned product has been received or until the customer has provided proof that the product has been sent back.
Shipping costs, additional delivery services, and deductions for diminished value may be excluded from the refunded amount where permitted by law.
Defective or Incorrect Products
Defective, damaged, or incorrect products are handled separately from ordinary returns and withdrawals.
If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect product, contact Ergolyx AB at support@ergolyx.com as soon as possible.
Please include your order number, a description of the issue, and photos or video showing the problem.
Defective product claims are handled in accordance with applicable warranty terms and mandatory consumer protection law.
Non-Returnable Items
Unless required by law, returns are not accepted for:
Custom-made or clearly personalized products
Products damaged by misuse, incorrect assembly, unauthorized modification, or normal wear and tear
Products returned without prior contact with Ergolyx AB
Products that cannot be resold due to handling beyond what is necessary to inspect them
